Message from the President

As 2010 begins we are all anxiously looking forward to a recovery in the world economy.  Although the past year has been a challenge to many companies, Dura Temp has taken the opportunity to focus and invest in new collaborative efforts as well as research and development projects.

 Collaborative Efforts

• We are extremely pleased to be appointed as the global distributor for Protatherm® products.  The Protatherm® line is a perfect compliment to Dura Temp’s line of outstanding ware handling products.  Dura Temp now can offer a broader range of materials and products for the hot end ranging from gob deflectors all the way through to the lehr loader.  We look forward to providing even more solutions to enable glass makers to produce higher quality ware with higher pack rates.

 R&D Efforts 

• Dura Temp is pleased to introduce its new lehr bar pocket design which is light weight yet very strong.
   
• Continue the expansion of our hybrid series parts which are ideal for higher temperature applications or harsh wear environments.
   
• New take out holders will be available in 2010 to facilitate the introduction of Protatherm® take out inserts.

Dura Temp is also focusing on a number of additional efforts to extend product wear life as well as increasing the level of technical support to better service our customers.  All of these activities are an effort to fulfill our mission statement which is: To Be The Best Provider of Hot Ware Handling Solutions for Glassmakers Worldwide.
