HISTORY

Dura Temp logo prior to 2003

In 1983, Dura Temp Corporation was founded by former Owens-Illinois Executives, Dr. Daniel R. Stewart and Burton W. Spear, who helped develop a fiberglass and carbon-filled silicone composite.  This material was developed as a replacement for asbestos. 

For over 25 years Dura Temp has been providing products and services to glass manufacturers worldwide.
